The two women will discuss economic recovery, digital development in Europe, and the security situation in the region. Kallas and von der Leyen will hold a joint press conference. At 8.20 a.m., Prime Minister Kaja Kallas will welcome Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, in front of the Öpik Conference Centre (Valukoja 8).
At 9 a.m., Ursula von der Leyen, Kaja Kallas, and Taavi Rõivas, Chairman of the Management Board of Auve Tech, will arrive in a self-driving bus to Viktor Square in Ülemiste, where Tõnu Grünberg, Chairman of the Management Board of Rail Baltic Estonia, will introduce the Rail Baltica project.
After the presentation, they will take the self-driving bus from Viktor Square to the e-Estonia presentation centre (Öpiku House, Valukoja 8), where Deputy Secretary General for Digital Development of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications Siim Sikkut will introduce the investments made in the digital revolution with the help of the recovery instrument and the opportunities of e-Estonia.
At 9.35 a.m., Kaja Kallas and Ursula von der Leyen will give a joint press conference at the e-Estonia presentation centre (Valukoja 8).
