“Finland is one of Estonia’s closest friends and allies,” Prime Minister Michal remarked. “In today’s world, good neighbours are worth their weight in gold. When Finland is doing well, Estonia does well.”
During their meeting, the heads of government will discuss the international security situation, common challenges in their own region and key areas of bilateral cooperation. “Finland has been an invaluable partner to us not only in ensuring the security of the Baltic Sea, but also in establishing and protecting energy connections that are crucial to Estonia,” Prime Minister Michal explained.
A joint press conference will be held at the Estonian Knighthood House after the meeting.
The official programme will be followed by a visit of the heads of government to Western Estonia.
