Prime Minister Kaja Kallas will participate today in the high-level event ‘New European Bauhaus goes Into the Woods’ at the Haltia Nature Centre at the invitation of Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin. Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, and Ebba Busch, Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden, will also attend the event. The joint press conference will start at 11.15 a.m.

Prime Minister Kaja Kallas will participate today in the high-level event ‘New European Bauhaus goes Into the Woods’ at the Haltia Nature Centre at the invitation of Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin.

The discussion will focus on how forests provide inspiration and material for sustainable construction, while fostering biodiversity and carbon sinks.

Prime Minister Kaja Kallas will give a speech at the opening discussion of the event at 10 a.m.

A meeting between Prime Minister Kallas, President of the European Commission von der Leyen, Finnish Prime Minister Marin, and Swedish Deputy Prime Minister Busch is also planned in Haltia, and their joint press conference will start at 11.15 a.m.
