“The European Political Community meeting offers great opportunity to interact with other European heads of state and government. It’s important for Estonia that every such meeting promotes more unity in foreign and security policy as well as fostering practical cooperation among European countries,” said Prime Minister Kaja Kallas. “On Friday, discussions at the informal European Council will revolve around European Union’s long-term strategic goals and enlargement, and migration,” Prime Minister added.
All European countries and EU institutions have been invited to the European Political Community meeting, except Russia and Belarus. The agenda features a joint plenary session and parallel roundtable sessions. Prime Minister Kallas will take part in the roundtable on multilateralism, security and geostrategy with heads of state and government of Andorra, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Montenegro, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the President of the European Council.
Prime Minister Kaja Kallas will meet the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani bilaterally to discuss the situation on the Western Balkans and bilateral cooperation.
